Fleet Management


The Fleet Management System(FMS) is responsible for the coordinated and goal oriented path planning for heterogeneous entities like different Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and human workers as well as for scheduling their tasks.

With the precise localization of all human workers in the warehouse, FMS will plan trajectories for heterogeneous human-robot system taking into account all kind of robot abilities (carrier single bins, pallet transporter, forklift, measurement/maintenance vehicle) and human specialized tasks (picker, reloader, system architect, maintenance personnel, programmer). FMS will take into account the dynamic changes caused by human interaction with the system, with respect to orders based on availability and priority.

Therefore, SafeLog proposes to develop a multi-objective multi-constrained large-scale planner with additional error handling subsystem (monitoring, diagnosis and maintenance) and lifecycle system-management subsystem (reorganization, flexibility, setup).
