The SafeLog concept was exhibited at the LogiMat trade fair in Stuttgart, Germany from 19th-21st, Feb 2019. A total of 1,624 companies from 42 countries, gathered this year to present their latest developments and system solutions for efficient intralogistics to an audience of industry professionals. LogiMAT 2019 attracted a total of 61,740 industry professionals over three days. The EU-project SafeLog was exhibited at the Fraunhofer IML booth in Hall 1. The Safety concept of Safelog attracted a lot of companies that intend to put forward the safety of human workers in their Warehouses. The human-robot interaction aspect was quite interesting to the acedemic visitors. Overall the project received overwhelming interest from the visitors at the Fair.
SafeLog at IROS 2018, Madrid
The International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) is one of the most important robotics conferences in the world. Over 3000 specialists from the Research and Industry participated in the five daylong conference from October 1-5, 2018 to exchange views on the latest innovations and technical developments through workshops, forums, discussions and the accompanying exhibitions. The Conference was sponsored by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), the world’s largest professional association of engineers and scientists.
At the exhibition, companies like Amazon, Bosch, Kuka and several others presented the latest robotic technologies. All the project partners from the research project SafeLog also presented the preliminary results for safe human-robot collaboration in Warehouses at the SafeLog Booth. The results caught attention of many at IROS and were a great success in the end!
