The International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) is one of the most important robotics conferences in the world. Over 3000 specialists from the Research and Industry participated in the five daylong conference from October 1-5, 2018 to exchange views on the latest innovations and technical developments through workshops, forums, discussions and the accompanying exhibitions. The Conference was sponsored by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), the world’s largest professional association of engineers and scientists.
At the exhibition, companies like Amazon, Bosch, Kuka and several others presented the latest robotic technologies. Fraunhofer IML along with the other consortium partners from the research project SafeLog also presented the preliminary results for safe human-robot collaboration in Warehouses at the SafeLog Booth.
